Privacy Policy
African Party is a free browser-based party game with optional account and support prompts. This page explains what information may be collected when you use this site, including Google advertising and analytics technologies.
Information handled by the game
- Team names, scores, settings, install prompts, and privacy choices may be stored in your browser using local storage or related browser storage.
- The service worker may cache app files so the game can load faster and work offline.
- Account sign-in may be offered after several rounds or visits so players can prepare for saved preferences, scores, and future cross-country features. Free play remains available without an account.
- Optional support or payment prompts may link to an external payment provider. The game should not store card details in browser storage.
Advertising and Google services
- This site includes Google AdSense publisher code for ca-pub-3039358485544524. Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device identifiers, and similar technologies to deliver ads, limit repeated ads, prevent fraud, and measure ad performance.
- Third parties, including Google, may place and read cookies on your browser or use web beacons and identifiers as a result of ad serving.

Analytics
- No dedicated analytics snippet was found on this site root during this audit. If analytics is added later, this policy should be updated before release.
Consent and choices
You can use the privacy choices link in the site footer to accept optional advertising and analytics storage or keep only necessary storage. You can also clear this site's browser storage or manage cookies in your browser settings.
For visitors in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland, personalized ads require a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. The site owner should configure Google AdSense Privacy & messaging for each approved site.
Accounts and sign in
You can play without an account. If you choose to sign in, accounts are handled for us by Clerk, which stores your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture as supplied by Google. We never see or store your password.
Once you have an account we keep, in a database hosted by Cloudflare:
- your email address, and an identifier for your account
- which edition you signed up from, and the date you last opened the game
- scoreboards you choose to save, your team names, and your game settings
- a record of any purchase, and whether it was refunded or charged back
We do not store the cards you played, and nothing about a round leaves your device unless you save a scoreboard.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your card details. Stripe tells us that a payment succeeded, the amount, and the email address used, so that your purchase can be restored on another device.
How long we keep it, and how to remove it
Account data is kept for as long as the account exists. If your account menu offers “Delete account” you can remove it yourself immediately; otherwise email us and we will delete it within seven days. Either way your profile, saved scoreboards, team names and settings are deleted. Records of payments are kept afterwards because we are required to keep financial records, but they are detached from your profile.

Where your data is processed
Clerk, Cloudflare and Stripe are based in the United States and process data on servers in several countries, including within the European Union. Our database is hosted in Western Europe.
Children and adult content
The game is intended for general party-game use, but some editions may include an adult or NSFW category. Those areas are intended only for users who are 18 or older. The site is not directed to children under 13.
